  1. This is the second file that I mentioned in the first file.
  2.  
  3. These fonts were converted from type 1 fonts by acorns !T1ToFont
  4. util as supplied with RiscOS3.
  5.  
  6. These fonts will only work with RiscOS3 and not with RiscOS2
  7.  
  8. The fonts were converted by me and as far as I know are public 
  9. domain.

  11. The fonts were downloaded from:-
  12. src.doc.ic.ac.uk
  13. and were found in :-
  14. /computing/systems/ibmpc/windows3/fonts/atm
  15.  
  16. Most of the fonts there were converted so I don't think there is
  17. much point in anyone else doing the same conversion.

  19. The fonts have been crushed using !Spark. Use !Spark,!SparkPlug
  20. or ArcFs to decompress them.

  22. They have also been uuencoded to make ZModem possible. Use !Spark
  23. !SparkFS or any other uudecoder to decode them (Go on chris state
  24. the blindingly obvious why don't you)

  26. Does anyone know where I can get hold of a desktop UUCoder/Decoder
  27. (There is one in !Spark but I don't like it very much) I'm just
  28. looking for something that sits there and puts up a save box when
  29. you drag something to it.

  31. Also just as a final plea! Does anyone know where I can get hold of
  32. a version of !Translater later than 7.1?

  34. By the way there should be another file called something similar
  35. which is just another pile of fonts also converted by me.
  36. (The two files are because each one when decompressed fits nicely
  37. on one 800k floppy disk)
